The Victorian Government has appointed Dr Bridie O’Donnell MBBS as Head of Victoria’s first Office for Women in Sport and Recreation.
Australian Sports Commission (ASC) CEO Kate Palmer said athlete development, transition and growing women’s sport would continue to be key priorities for the ASC as she launched Change The Game, an AIS program designed to enhance links between elite female athletes and corporate Australia.
She travels 60 minutes from her home in Goulburn to Canberra and back again numerous times a week to play the game she loves and now Ash Kara’s dedication has paid off.
